You will be challenged, inspired and pleasantly surprised by your personal evolution. Here's why, and what to expect from your 6-week challenge for personal growth, self-discovery and transformation.
Through inspiring weekly meetings with other participants, adoption of personal yoga and meditation practices, dietary considerations, personal inquiry and deeply inspiring readings, you are given the tools to free yourself to return to the healthy life you want and need.
The most challenging aspect of the program will lay in your ability to release judgement and preconceived notions about yourself as these personal bocks are the walls that hold you back from becoming a more balanced, aware and empowered individual. Becoming aware of personal blocks is fundamentally what makes this program work so well. The program encourages you to reflect on aspects of your life that may be affecting you negatively and you're taught how to make appropriate changes.
To gain a deeper appreciation for the art of yoga, you're invited to find any little bit of spare time to commit to a daily yoga and meditation practice. You discover the power of 'quality vs. quantity' as you develop a relationship with your body and complete your practice at your own pace.
The catalyst of your personal evolution will be found in the moments when you want to quit and when frustrations speak louder than your drive and intention. Coming from a place of strength, confidence and compassion, you will learn how to address individual weaknesses that have the potential of breaking you down.

"I discovered the Gratitude Hot Yoga Studios about six months ago. I had set an intention to connect with a yoga studio that honors the spiritual practice of yoga in addition to the physical. I started practicing at Gratitude’s Glenwood location in Fall 2020 and immediately felt at home. I had also been looking for a way to reset emotionally and spiritually. When Roman invited me to participate in the Personal Evolution 6-Week Yoga Challenge, I jumped at the opportunity.
The commitment required some adjustments to my work schedule. But, the effort there seemed worth it. I’m so glad that I accepted the challenge. The program has been challenging from a physical, emotional and spiritual perspective but, in the best ways. I have been reintroduced to meditating and encouraged to develop a daily practice. We have delved deep into breathing
techniques and this has boosted my daily practice. There are four instructors present during the practice who offer amazing assists. It’s been so lovely to feel part of a healthy and spiritually focused yoga community for the first time in so many years.
The focus and atmosphere is always exceedingly positive. Roman and his lead assistant, Charles, are a treasure trove of yoga knowledge. Yet, they are also hilarious. Neither takes himself too seriously. Their combined humor provides levity. Roman speaks candidly and from his own experiences about topics such as self-love and acceptance, family balance, interpersonal dynamics, addiction, abuse and the importance of prayer. He has a fabulous understanding of anatomy and physiology.
The three-hour course is accompanied by a workbook with modules to facilitate reflection and journaling during the days between classes. The course participants collectively read and discussed a really neat book about the practical application of yoga practice entitled, Yoga and the Path of the Urban Mystic. There are also modules on healthy eating using a whole foods approach.
