Build something meaningful. Own something powerful. Don't build it alone.
Gratitude Hot Yoga is more than a place to practice yoga.
It's an approach to practice, teaching, community and studio ownership shaped by more than two decades of opening studios, developing teachers and building communities.
Now we're looking for the right people in the right communities to help write the next chapter.
EXPLORE OWNERSHIP
Opening a yoga studio independently means figuring out almost everything yourself.
The location. The buildout. The brand. The teachers. The schedule. The pricing. The marketing. The student experience. The systems.
And usually...the mistakes.
We've spent years learning those lessons.
The Gratitude Way brings that experience together into a framework designed to help the right owner build a strong business, develop exceptional teachers and create a community that matters.
You bring the entrepreneurial drive and local leadership.
We bring the brand, the systems, the experience and the support.
And we build it together.
A great yoga studio requires more than great yoga.
The Gratitude Way brings together the essential parts of building, operating and growing a studio...while never losing sight of the people at the center of it.
THE PRACTICE
A distinct approach to yoga, sequencing and the student experience.
THE TEACHERS
Training, development, mentorship and continuing education designed to create exceptional teachers and future leaders.
THE BUSINESS
Pricing, memberships, sales, retention, financial awareness and the operating rhythms that keep the business healthy.
THE BRAND
A recognizable identity, clear positioning, marketing systems and ongoing campaigns designed to help your community find you.
THE COMMUNITY
A culture designed to turn people who take classes into people who feel like they belong.
THE SUPPORT
Guidance as you move from idea to location to opening...and continued coaching as your studio grows.
You aren't simply licensing a name.
You're stepping into a way of doing things.
That's The Gratitude Way.
Gratitude has never grown simply by opening locations.
It has grown through people.
Students became teachers.
Teachers became leaders.
Relationships became communities.
And those communities became places people could call home.
Along the way, we've learned that the strongest studios aren't built by a logo, a location or one person.
They're built by the right people...supported by the right systems...working toward something they believe in together.
That's the kind of growth we're interested in now.
We're not looking to put a Gratitude on every corner.
We're looking for the right people in the right communities.
And when those things come together...something meaningful can happen.
The Gratitude Way wasn't created in a boardroom.
It was developed through more than two decades of actually building yoga studios, developing teachers and creating communities.
It began in 2001 with Inner Strength Studios in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Over the years, that journey expanded into West Roxbury and Sudbury...through new studios, acquisitions, partnerships and evolving communities.
When Ro moved to North Carolina, the next chapter began.
Inner Strength evolved into Gratitude Hot Yoga...and the experience accumulated over those years began evolving into something bigger:
The Gratitude Way.
Since then, Gratitude has continued to grow through studios and partnerships in Raleigh, Falmouth, Sudbury and Waltham...with a new Gratitude Greenhouse Yoga concept now being developed in Asheville, North Carolina.
Different communities. Different buildings. Different challenges.
Each one taught us something.
How to build community.
How to develop great teachers.
How to create an experience people want to return to.
How to adapt when things change.
And how to build a business without losing the reason you built it in the first place.
More than 20 years of those lessons are becoming the foundation for the next generation of Gratitude studios.
You don't have to start at the beginning.
You get to start with what we've learned.
You don't have to be a yoga teacher.
You don't have to have owned a studio before.
But you do need to care deeply about people...and believe that a business can be both meaningful and successful.
We're looking for entrepreneurs, teachers, leaders and community builders who are ready to create something that matters.
PASSIONATE ABOUT PEOPLE
You understand that the real business isn't yoga classes...it's relationships.
ENTREPRENEURIAL
You're excited by the idea of building something, growing something and taking ownership of the results.
COACHABLE
You want the freedom of ownership without having to figure everything out alone.
COMMUNITY MINDED
You want to create a place where people don't simply attend...they belong.
COMMITTED TO GROWTH
You believe personal development and professional development go together.
WILLING TO FOLLOW A SYSTEM
You bring your personality, leadership and local knowledge...while protecting the standards and practices that make Gratitude...Gratitude.
Maybe you've dreamed about owning a yoga studio.
Maybe you've never considered it until now.
Either way...if something about this feels like you, we should probably talk.
ROMAN “RO” SZPOND
Ro Szpond has spent more than two decades opening yoga studios, developing teachers and building communities.
What began with Inner Strength Studios in Massachusetts eventually evolved into Gratitude Hot Yoga and The Gratitude Way...a system shaped by the lessons that only come from actually doing the work.
Today, Ro's focus isn't simply opening more studios himself.
It's helping the right people build Gratitude in their own communities...with the experience, systems, support and relationships he wishes he'd had when he opened his first studio in 2001.
The goal isn't simply to open more yoga studios.
It's to build something that matters...with people who believe it matters too.

Maybe you already know where you'd open it.
Maybe you've been thinking about owning a yoga studio for years.
Or maybe something on this page simply made you wonder...what if?
We're beginning conversations with entrepreneurs, yoga teachers, studio owners, investors and community builders who are interested in bringing The Gratitude Way to new communities.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need a building.
You don't need to be a yoga teacher.
You just need to be curious enough to start the conversation.
Tell us a little about yourself, your community and what you're imagining.
Let's see what we might build together.
