an attitude of gratitude

I'm reaching out to you with a message to never get lost in the day-to-day stressors and forget your blessings. 


Coupled with all of the pressure and the lingering COVID issues and there's no shortage of stress to go around...


But, when we forget and the emotions of stress, fear, anger, frustration, overwhelm, sadness and worry take root in us, we're going to miss the true spirit and blessings of each day!


As you know, Gratitude Hot Yoga Centers are not just a yoga sanctuary for you to call home throughout the year, it's also a way of thinking, feeling, and behaving in life off of the yoga mat.


It's my most sincere wish that after all that we've been through lately, you still find a way to make today and every day the best.


If you've been following the work we're doing at Gratitude and have been applying gratitude to all you do, you are literally feeling how gratitude shifts the body's biochemistry...After all, science has proven that gratitude has been shown to prime our brains to find the good in things.


Consider the alternative...our two-million-year-old brain wiring takes over and runs the show trying to survive and look for what's wrong in all situations. 


Remember: What's wrong is always available...but, what's right is also available.


FEAR & ANGER are the two emotions that can totally mess up any situation in life, even if everything is going well. 


Remember what we believe and teach: GRATITUDE is the antidote to stress!


You simply can't be angry or fearful and grateful at the same time.

Here is an audio clip of a simple practice I call 'The Gratitude Spiral'. It takes like, 10 minutes...you may have even adopted it into your life already because I share it in our live yoga classes and events and in my inspirational emails. 

I encourage you to adopt this practice today and every day and see what kind of energy it brings to you, your family, friends, and the community you love. 


When you do this, you're giving a gift to yourself. And, with practice and feeling the power that gratitude can have on your life, you just might want to keep doing it as a life practice!


It's my sincere prayer that all will find the miracle of this experience we call life even in the midst of all the crazy stimuli that we've all been exposed to in the last few years.


Here, I'd like to extend to you another short video that hopefully aids in putting you in the space of gratitude because as a father, son, significant other, business owner, friend, and community contributor, I fully understand how the never-ending demands of life can be really challenging.  


Here is how to consciously activate gratitude today!

Ok, let's give thanks, not just for those rare extraordinary moments or for the gifts wrapped up with a bow, but for every decision and every event that led you to read this, right here, right now.

The Gratitude Way is designed to ignite your personal POWER. Through the practice of yoga and self-inquiry, we ALIGN our feelings, thoughts and actions with what's most truthful in our lives.
