You will leave every class empowered to step back into your life to get done what you need with much more enthusiasm, effectiveness, and efficiency.
The Leadership Team at Gratitude has extensive training and knowledge of proper ALIGNMENT and most of our current leadership team is RYT500, the highest designation for a yoga teacher from the Yoga Alliance. You will benefit by learning proper alignment and maintaining safety in every class, avoiding injury, and establishing a strong foundation for all that life has to offer. On a practical level, The Gratitude Way affords its students the space to align with their internal truth to have their feelings, thoughts, and actions all in ALIGNMENT in their lives.
The practice of yoga at Gratitude builds what we like to call an 'EMOTIONAL FITNESS', or an ability to process the sometimes strong emotions associated with life. The more we're living our lives, relating, working, loving, breaking up, beginning, coming to an end, succeeding, and failing, emotions will be an integral part of life. Yoga at Gratitude is designed to imbue you with a feeling that you can do it!
The yoga tradition believes that there is a light that illuminates the entire universe and within each of us there is a spark or an ember from that universal flame. Each class at Gratitude 'breaths life into', or, INSPIRES! You are inspired to fall back behind all of the stress, tension, and oftentimes relentless/confusing thoughts and connect with your breath, and let go! Breath, in its Latin root, is SPIRIT, or spiritus.
