The belize yoga retreat April 13-20th 2024

Since early 2000, Roman has been hosting students on regional and international yoga retreats and is very excited to invite you to sunny Belize for another week of yoga, sun, and amazing experiences at the beautiful Belizean Shores Resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize from Saturday, April 13th - Saturday, April 20th, 2024.

Each day of your time away in sunny Belize will be filled with optional yoga sessions and free time to rest, hike, explore, snorkel, dive, take a golf cart to town, walk the quirky streets of San Pedro, or lounge around at the infinity pool.  

Cost includes:

• All meals which will include:
• Dinner on Saturday, 4/13
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on 4/14 - 19th.
• Breakfast on 4/20
• Lodging
• Round trip flight transfer to and from Belize International Airport to San Pedro Air Strip.
• Round-trip taxi transfers to and from San Pedro Air Strip to Belizean Shores Resort. 
• All yoga instruction 
• You will be responsible for your international airfare.

As you can see from the photos below, Belizean Shores Resort is right on the beach and about 1/4 mile off of its beautiful sandy shores is the second-largest barrier reef in the world ready for you to explore.

The resort has 12 buildings with two condos on the first floor and two on the second floor.  Each first-floor condo has a spacious deck, a large living room with flat flat-screen television, a pull-out couch, and plenty of space to lounge.  There is a round dining table that sits 4 and a kitchen area with a refrigerator, stovetop, and sink and each unit is supplied with cooking and eating utensils.  The first-floor units have a bathroom with a shower and each room provides a closet, a safe, a dresser, and a large bed.  All units have Wifi and are airconditioned.  

The second-floor units are the same as the first-floor units but have a staircase that leads up to a loft space for our triple and quad option retreaters and are a perfect option for families. 

The airport code for The Belize International Airport is BZE.  Most international flights connect either through Miami, Charlotte, or Dallas.  Once you land in Belize, there is one small terminal where all international flights come through.  You'll be led to customs where you'll have to fill out the appropriate paperwork which will be provided on the flight.  From there you'll retrieve your luggage and walk toward the Tropic Air counter where your flight transfer will be waiting.  

You will be taken to the waiting area for your flight.  After a short 20-minute flight transfer from Belize International Airport to the Island of Ambergris Caye, you'll land at the Sand Pedro airstrip.  You will be welcomed by a representative of Belizean Shores and taxied to the center where you'll then go straight to the front desk to receive your condo key and any pertinent information.  

Once you've enrolled, you'll receive a detailed email with packing suggestions, excursion options, and other logistical information.
